Description

Pavitts is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with a southern extension added in 1983. It is timber-framed and has a thatched roof. The cottage consists of three bays, including a central chimney bay, and features a lobby entrance on the west side. When inspected in January 1983, it was undergoing major renovation and lacked wall cladding and windows. The structure shows primary straight bracing, and the wall framing was originally intended to be fully lathed and plastered on both the inside and outside.
