BROXTED ELSENHAM ROAD 1. 5222 Palegate Farmhouse TL 52 NE 4/14 II 2. C16 or earlier house, timber framed and plastered, with red plain tile roof. Two storey. Complex plan with gabled crosswing at south end, and 2 gabled extensions at rear. Modern leaded casements throughout. Late C16 red brick chimney stack. (RCHM4).
