Description

Palegate Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a complex plan, including a gabled crosswing at the south end and two gabled extensions at the rear. Throughout the house, there are modern leaded casements. A late 16th-century red brick chimney stack is also present.
