Description

Greenend Farmhouse is a late 16th century timber-framed and plastered house, featuring one storey and attics. It has a gabled wing extending on the east side and a modern addition on the west side. The windows are 20th century casements with glazing bars. The roof is tiled and half hipped at both the north and south ends, with an original central chimney stack that has four diagonal shafts. There are three gabled dormers on the west side and two on the east. Inside, the farmhouse boasts good panelling dated 1589 and an original plaster fireplace decorated with Tudor roses and fleur-de-lis.
