Description
Nos. 58, 60, and 62 High Street are shops and a flat dating from the mid to late 17th century. The buildings are timber framed and plastered, topped with a gabled peg tile roof, and are arranged in two parallel ranges, with a gabled return at the south end of the rear. The front features a central 19th-century red brick chimney stack and four double-hung sash windows on the first floor, which have moulded surrounds and small panes. The plasterwork is partly ashlared, and there are two modern shopfronts. Inside, the timber framing is visible, along with a crosswing-like structure at the south end. The buildings are primarily noted for their group value.
