Description

Whites Farmhouse is a late 15th century or early 16th century house located on the north side of Takeley Street. It features a gabled and jettied crosswing at the west end. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. It has two storeys and a three-window range with 19th century casements. There is a small modern lean-to at the east end and another lean-to at the rear.
