Description

Yew Tree House and Jonyers is a 17th-century house located on the north side of Takeley Street. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. It stands two storeys high and features two tile-hung gables facing the street. The house has a two-window range with modern casements. There is a simple 18th-century door canopy supported by brackets, which shelters a six-panelled door from the 18th century. The east gable may serve as a crosswing to Yew Tree House.
