Description

Brickhouse Farmhouse is a late 15th or early 16th century house with two crosswings. It is timber framed and plastered, with a red plain tile roof. The house has a one-window, two-window, one-window, two-window facade, featuring 19th-century and modern casement windows. A late 16th-century extension exists to the south, characterised by a long wall jetty, a moulded bressumer, and curved brackets. The house originally comprised two dwellings. The chimneys are of 16th-century red brick, partly rebuilt. A lean-to extension is present at the north end.
