Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house situated on the north-east side of Carmel Street, Great Chesterford. It is a two-storey building with a jettied upper storey extending across the entire front, featuring three gables. The upper storey has a three-window range of casement windows with glazing bars. The ground storey incorporates a modern bay on the north-west end and a modern doorway. The roof is tiled.
