Description

Amberley Cottage is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered house located on the north-east side of Manor Lane in Great Chesterford. The timber framing is exposed on the ground storey. The building has two storeys, featuring a three-window range on the south-east front and a one-window range on the south-west front. The windows are casement style with glazing bars. The roof is thatched and includes a central chimney stack at the north-east end.
