Description

Chestnuts is a house originating from the 17th century, but significantly altered in the 18th and 19th centuries and renovated in the 20th century. It is timber-framed and has been plastered. The house is two storeys high and has a two-window front with small casement windows inserted in the 20th century. The north-east end is single-storey with attics. The roof is pantiled and features one gabled dormer window. The interior retains exposed timber-framing, including ceiling beams and joists.
