Description

Mount Cottage is a 19th-century, three-storey timber-framed house with plastered walls. It has central gables facing north and south, and gables also on the east and west sides. The east, west, and south sides each feature a single window range with casement windows. A circular plaque in the east gable displays the name "Mount Cottage" and the date 1871. The roof is slate, with decorative bargeboards to the gables, ornamental crest tiles, and a central chimney stack with a brick base and cornice featuring dentils.
