Description

This is a late 17th-century or earlier cottage, located on the south side of Broadway in Great Dunmow. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a thatched roof that is hipped to the east. The cottage is a single storey in height with attic accommodation, featuring a four-window front. The windows are 19th-century casements, with two gabled dormers in the roof. A flat-roofed rear extension was added in the 20th century.
