Description

Crouches is a house dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range with late 18th century vertical sliding sashes that include glazing bars. There is a central late 18th century bay window with a flat roof and vertical sliding sashes. A central 17th century red brick chimney stack is present, along with a gabled porch on the north side and a gabled east wing.
