Description
Little Rakefairs is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is two storeys high and constructed of timber framing with plaster. The building consists of two major blocks that feature a stepped roofline and gabled roofs covered with peg tiles. The lower block has a large rectangular stack at the ridgeline and a side purlin roof. The front of the house has 20th-century metal casements with horizontal panes and includes a large lean-to porch that encloses a square bay window. There are lean-to extensions with peg tile roofs at each end, with the western extension having a black weatherboarded end wall.
