Summerhouse approx 22m S of No.1 (qv). 1834. Red brick, roof now felt, originally lead?. Circular plan approx 3.6m diameter, in Gothick' style. Single storey approx 3.5m high. N elevation to garden, central 4-centred arch headed doorway, 2-leaf compassed door with upper glazing, margin glazing bars with some decorative stained glass panes, inner 2x4 panes, lower panel to each leaf. Fixed lancet window each side withY' tracery glazing bars, 2x3 panes below, apex pane of decorative stained glass. Splayed stone sills. Parapet to roof has deep corniced coping and lower moulded cornice (all in brick). Between, parapet pierced by continuous band of round holes made from terracotta half round sections (field drains?), lower spout on E side, also double buttress on W side where building meets garden wall, buttress also with brick cornice moulding. INTERIOR: rendered, plain. 3 graffiti on brickwork, initials all ending with TI and all dated 1834, probably the initials of the younger members of the family done at the time of construction. GARDEN WALL each side attached to back, red brick, approx 2.5m high, upper 0.5m later addition. Extends approx 10.5m to E approx 6.5m to W, then turning N towards house for approx 22m.
