Description
The garden wall and summerhouse, likely built in the late 18th century, are constructed of red brick with a stone slate roof on the summerhouse. The wall forms a right angle, with one side extending approximately 100 meters parallel to the track, while the other side originally extended down to the river and featured a grand archway, which is now mostly collapsed beneath a 20th-century garage. The wall has stone slate coping. The summerhouse, located at the angle of the wall, is five-sided and features three round-arched openings on the inner side, each with an ashlar keystone and impost bands, and radial glazing bars at the top. The central opening has leaved glazed doors that match the 32-pane sash windows in the outer openings. There is a blocked opening on the left side of the summerhouse, which also has ashlar coping. This structure is associated with Clints Hall, which has since been demolished.
