Description

The building is a disused kennel from the early 19th century, constructed for the Hutton family. It is made of rubble with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof. The structure is single storey and built on a slight curve, consisting of a pattern of 1:2:1:2:1 bays. Each single bay has a round-arched doorway, which includes 6-panel doors or sections of them, framed by ashlar surrounds with imposts and open ironwork fanlights. The windows are sash style, set within segmental-arched ashlar surrounds. The roof is hipped, and there is a corniced ashlar stack located between the fifth and sixth openings.
