Description

Forest Lodge is a house dating from the late 16th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior. The building has two storeys and features a gabled peg tile roof, which includes a prominent central rectangular chimney stack with a recessed centre. The house is 'L' shaped and has a black weatherboarded barn to the west, also with a gabled peg tile roof. The north elevation jetties out, supported by exposed brackets, and has a central entrance door with a small window above it, along with 19th-century small pane casements.
