Description

West Lodge is a lodge cottage from the early 19th century. It features a plain red tile roof and is constructed of red brick with a black diaper pattern. The building has stone quoins, window dressings, and parapet verges, along with a stone gabled porch that has a Tudor arch. It is one and a half storeys tall, with a small gabled dormer and a projecting feature gable. There are three windows with iron Gothick casements. To the left, there is a single-storey outbuilding that matches the main lodge, which is connected by a modern single-storey addition made of red plain tiles and brick. The property has three chimney stacks, including one decorated octagonal stack with two and three shafts respectively.
