Description

The Hall is a house with an early 19th-century front, built of red brick and topped with a hipped grey slate roof. The brickwork is dated 1813. At the rear, there are timber-framed and plastered sections from the 16th and 17th centuries. The front elevation features three ranges of small paned sash windows, with shutters on the ground floor. The central door is panelled and has three lights. A fine metal tent porch, supported by ornamental pillars with a matching frieze, adds to the entrance. There are two red brick chimney stacks. The property is also noted for its homestead moat.
