Description

Centuries is a 17th-century cottage located on Church Road in Great Hallingbury. It features a double range with a plain red-tile hipped roof. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with modern pargetting, and has an attached single-storey section made of the same materials, topped with a pantile roof for the bake oven on the right. The cottage has two storeys, with three windows on the ground floor and two on the first floor. The windows are iron casements with diamond leaded lights and glazing bars. A central rectangular red brick chimney stack is present, along with three windows in the single-storey range.
