Description

Brook Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame and parget plastered exterior, topped with a thatched roof. The building is one storey high with attics and has a central red brick chimney stack. It includes a two-window range of 20th-century casements and a vertically boarded door on the left side. There is also a lean-to extension on the right. Inside, the original frame is preserved, showcasing jowled storey posts and the original fireplace.
