Description
The barn at Chickney Hall is a mid-17th century timber-framed building with weatherboard cladding and a red plain tile half-hipped roof. It comprises five bays, featuring a gabled midstrey. The barn retains original features including jowled posts, arch-braced tie beams, through-wall bracing, and a side purlin queen strut roof. A later brick lean-to extension has been added to the right side.
