Description
The barn at Old Hall is a 17th-century structure featuring a timber frame with later brick nogging and pantile roofs. It has weatherboarded gables and consists of five bays. To the east, there is a later continuous outshut that is interrupted by a central gabled midstrey, which is directly opposite the western cart entrance. The roof is supported by arch-braced ties with intermediate collared principal rafters, and it includes double sets of butt purlins with windbracing.
