Description

This is an outbuilding at Chickney Hall, likely originally a large granary, now converted into a house. The building probably dates from the late 16th or early 17th century. It is timber-framed with plaster infill, having a red plain tile half-hipped roof. 20th-century casement windows have been added, along with extensions. Internally, parts of the timber frame are exposed, featuring arch braced tie beams and jowled storey posts.
