Description
This small outbuilding, located approximately 50 metres east of Upper Farmhouse and adjacent to a track, likely served as a dwelling at one time and now functions as a granary on the first floor. It dates from the late 16th century and features a timber frame that is partially plastered and partially weatherboarded, with some areas patched with corrugated iron. The building has two storeys and a loft, showcasing a high-quality frame with heavy chamfered bridging joists. It includes a mullion window and a side purlin roof, with soffit tenons that have diminished haunches.
