Description

Freda Cottage and Rose Downery are a pair of cottages from the 19th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, featuring a plaster return, and have a grey slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high and have a central red brick chimney stack. Each cottage has a two-window range with small paned vertically sliding sashes that have moulded surrounds. The ground floor is adorned with pentice boards, and each cottage has a four-panelled door with a moulded surround and moulded pediments supported by brackets.
