Description
East End Green Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. It is timber framed, featuring an exposed frame with brick infill and plastered returns. The roof is covered with red plain tiles, and there is a central red brick chimney stack. The house has two storeys and attics, with a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes. A 20th-century central gable porch and an attic window can be found on the return gable. There is also a 20th-century single storey extension on the right side. Inside, notable features include chamfered bridging joists and ceiling beams. This building is likely the one known as The Brick House, which dates back to around 1695.
