Description

No. 88 is a house located on the south side of High Street in Brightlingsea, dating from the mid-19th century. The building features 20th-century parget plastered brick and has a hipped grey slate roof, with a rear chimney stack made of plastered brick. It stands two storeys tall and is characterized by end pilasters. The front has a two-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes. To the right, there is a six-panelled door topped with a fanlight, which has reveal panels and a flat canopy supported by circular columns. This house is included in the listing for its group value.
