Description
No. 2 The Street is a house dating from the 18th to 19th century, with later extensions on the left side. The right range is constructed of red brick featuring end pilasters, while the left ranges are made of painted brick and gault brick. The right range has a red plain tiled roof, and the lower left range has a grey slate roof. There are end red brick chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high and has a window arrangement of 2:4, featuring small paned vertically sliding sashes. The right range has gauged arches, while the left range has moulded arches with keystones. The left side has double doors with top lights and a moulded surround, with an additional door to the left of the left pilaster, which also has a top light, along with a light above and side lights. To the right, there is a six-panelled door, with capitals and bases on the pilasters, and a moulded flat canopy supported by brackets.
