No. 1 The Street is a 17th-century house that features a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has a two-storey gabled wing at the west end, while the main range consists of one storey with attics. It includes a two-window range of 18th-century horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. There is a 19th-century lean-to extension with one window range, along with 19th-century and modern chimney stacks.
