Description

Forge House is an early 16th-century house located in Messing-cum-Inworth. It is timber-framed and plastered, standing two storeys high with a hipped roof covered in red plain tiles. The house features a two-window range with modern casements, while the original windows have been blocked, leaving only the original side light visible. The structure consists of three bays and includes a chimney bay, with a grey gault brick chimney stack. At the front, there is a 19th-century painted brick gabled extension that has a roof made of red pantiles.
