Description

The Picotte is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house located in Messing-cum-Inworth. It stands two storeys high and features a red plain tile roof. The front has a range of three windows, which are double-hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. There are late 19th-century red brick chimney stacks and an 18th-century pedimented doorcase with pilasters. Additionally, there is a two-storey extension from the 19th century at the south end of the building.
