Ticket office and waiting room. Late C19. Timber-framed and white painted shiplap boarding with lead roofs. 2 single-storey buildings with flat-roofed link. Octagonal ticket office with corner pilasters, moulded rails at window sill and head level and infill of shiplap boards. One double-hung sash window with small panes in upper light on each face excepting entrance door in one face. Wide eaves overhang and main roof as lead tent with cupola of arch-headed openings on balusters and ogee roof with iron weather-vane. Ticket office similar, but rectangular with small pane casements and hipped lead roof. Pair of entrance doors in east elevation with glazed panel over moulded panel in each leaf. Rear in plain boarded infill. Shiplap boarded flat-roofed link block. Replaced similar but more elaborate mid C19 structure of 2 storeys.
