MISTLEY GREEN LANE Former dairy and office building approx one metre NE of Dairy House

Dairy and first-floor office, now outbuilding. c.1777. Flemish bond red brick; gabled old plain tile roof. Rectangular plan. Two storeys; 3-window range with front facing Dairy House (q.v.). Flat brick arches over 2 C19 plank doors. Flat brick arch and segmental brick arch over 2 late C19 2 and 3-light casements (including blocked doorway to left); flat brick arches over 3 first-floor win- dows each with late C19 casement and late C18 casement with leaded lights. Similar windows to rear. Interior: chamfered beams and stone-flag floor. Built as part of farm complex shown on 1778 map of Mistley Hall estate (now in Essex Records Office).
