Description

Dairy Cottage is a former dairy building dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red and brown brick and features a hipped slate roof. The building has a square plan and is one storey high, with dentilled eaves. There are two twelve-pane sash windows with cambered heads, located under gauged brick heads, one on either side of a panelled door. The door is framed by an architrave surround with a pulvinated frieze and a modillion pediment above. Additionally, there is a thermal window, which is a later addition, on the left-hand return front.
