House. C18. Timber-framed and pebbledashed with gabled plain clay tile roof. 2 storeys with attic and cellars. First floor has C20 bow window with small panes. Flat-roofed C20 dormer with small pane double-hung sash window. Plain rendered ground floor has C20 bow window with small panes and doorcase with reeded pilasters and flat hood. NW gable has to attic, one double-hung sash window with 2 vertical glazing bars and 2 first-floor double-hung sash windows with small panes. This gable is built over churchyard boundary wall with passage under to rear of Hanover public house. Part of the frame is exposed and placed direct on upper brick part of wall. Lower part is of septaria rubble. Part of single timber frame which includes No.26 (qv). INTERIOR: handed version of similar dogleg stair to No.26 (qv) with turned balusters and pulvinated moulded string. Original late C18 simple plaster cornices and doors with moulded architraves on first floor.
