Description

White House is an 18th century timber-framed and plastered house that includes an earlier timber-framed structure. It has two storeys and attics, featuring a three-window range with double-hung sashes that have glazing bars. The central doorway is adorned with reeded architraves and a flat cornice hood. The roof is tiled and hipped, with two gabled dormers on the front. At the rear, there is an early 19th century wing. White House is part of a group that includes Bridge House, Bell House, Bell Cottage, and The Barnardiston Arms Public House.
