Description

The Old Forge is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered house located on Silver Street in Kedington. It has been renovated in the 20th century and stands two storeys high with a three-window range featuring 20th century casements. The central door, designed in a Tudor style, is flanked by a flat hood supported by brackets. The roof is thatched and raised over the central part of the building, which also has a central red brick square chimney stack. The Old Forge is part of a group that includes The Old Stores, Kimcot, The Cottage, Vine Cottage, Brook Cottage, and Dingle Dell Cottage.
