Description
Braham Hall is a house dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, with later alterations and additions. It is timber framed and plastered, with a red plain tiled roof that projects at the rear. A central, two-storey gabled porch is a prominent feature, as is the large red brick chimney stack. The building is two storeys high, with rear wings extending from the main body. The front facade has a 1:1:1 window arrangement, featuring 20th-century casement windows. A central 20th-century glazed door provides access. During a recent survey, entry was not possible, but portions of wall studs and a restored inglenook fireplace were visible. The building is described in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments volume 2.
