Norton's Barn, located approximately 40 metres northwest of Patches in Kirby-le-Soken, is an 18th-century barn. It features a timber frame with weatherboarding and a brick plinth, topped by a red pantiled roof. The barn has a gabled midstrey and a loft door on the right side. To the left, there is a two-bay cartlodge with a corrugated iron-clad roof. The structure consists of five bays and includes through bracing in the walls and hanging knees supporting the tie beams. The roof is constructed with side purlins and a ridge board.
