Description
Rugwood Farmhouse is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, with later rear wings added within 50 years of the original construction. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a red plain tiled roof. The building features three gabled rear ranges and has external red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, with pentice boards above them. The central entrance consists of a four-panel, two-light door with a moulded surround and a flat canopy supported by brackets. Inside, notable features include stick balusters on the staircase and four-panelled doors with moulded surrounds.
