Description
Priestwood Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. Wills from the 16th century indicate that a dwelling existed on this site in the 15th century. The building is timber framed and weatherboarded, featuring red plain tiled roofs with two levels, including a hipped roof and an outshot on the lower right range. There is a rear right gambrel roof range and a left range. The farmhouse has external chimney stacks on the left and rear right. It is two storeys high, with a one-storey and attic rear gambrel roof range. The facade includes a 2:2 window arrangement of three-light casements with pentice boards above. There is also an octagonal window on the first floor above the porch, which has a gabled design and a 20th-century door to the right of the left range.
