Description

Hipseys Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 18th century or earlier, featuring later alterations and a red brick extension. The building is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a red plain tiled roof that is half hipped towards the road. It is a long structure with a gable facing the road, consisting of one storey and attics. The cottage has one attic window and two ground floor vertically sliding sash windows with glazing bars, each with pentice boards above. There is a central boarded door with a pentice board over it. The left side is black weatherboarded while the right side is plastered. This cottage is included for its group value.
