Description

Ash Cottage is an early to mid-19th century cottage. It has a timber frame and is clad in weatherboarding. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there is a red brick chimney stack on the right side of the exterior. The cottage is two storeys high, with a single-range extension to the right. It has a 2:2 window arrangement, featuring various 2-light casements and small-paned windows. There are pentice boards on the ground floor to the left, and a central vertically boarded door with a light above it. A slanting canopy, supported by brackets, sits above the door.
