Description

Pear Tree Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 18th century or earlier, with later extensions and alterations. It features a plain red tile roof and stands two storeys tall. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with a four-window range that includes four small-paned casements on the ground floor and two on the first floor, all of which are from the 20th century. The cottage has a 20th-century door that includes small-paned lights and is topped with a flat canopy supported by brackets. Inside, there is a stop-chamfered beam, and the exterior is complemented by a red brick chimney stack.
