Description

This is a range of timber-framed and plastered houses built in the early to mid-19th century. The range has two storeys and a four-window front, featuring double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The doors are four-panel doors, each sheltered by a small hood supported on shaped brackets. The roofs are covered in slate. These houses are a typical example of such developments from that period and form a group with numbers 8 to 32 on Chapel Road.
