Description
The Cabin Dairy is a range of 18th century and early 19th century buildings located on the south side of High Street. It consists of a timber-framed and weatherboarded block at the eastern end, which is two stories high and features a two-window arrangement on the east front with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two 19th century shop windows with glazing bars on the east front, along with a modern shop front on the north side. The roof is slate.
Adjoining to the west is a red brick block that is two stories on the south front and one story with attics on the north. The south front has a three-window range, also with double-hung sash windows in flush cased frames, and two doorways, one of which is adorned with a "Tuscan" portico. The roofs are tiled and feature two sloping roofed dormers on the north side.
The Cabin Dairy, along with Nos 15 and 17, forms a group with Nos 14 to 18 (even).
