Description

No. 5A on High Street is a shop with living accommodation, dating from the 17th or 18th century, with 19th-century alterations. The building is timber framed and plastered, with a weatherboarded return. It features a red plain tiled gambrel roof and has one storey plus attics. There are two gabled dormers and two ground floor windows, one of which is a shop bay with a fascia above. At the time of the re-survey, all windows were boarded. The central entrance has a four-panelled door with a moulded surround and a flat canopy supported by brackets.
