Description

Spratt's Farmhouse is a house that originated in the 16th century, with later alterations and additions. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tiled roof. The house features a large red brick chimney stack that is off centre to the left and has been partially rebuilt; it was originally designed with attached shafts. There is also an external right truncated off-set red brick chimney stack. The building has one storey and attics, with three gabled dormers. The front has a three-window range in a 19th-century style, consisting of three-light casements with central transoms. A 20th-century gabled porch leads to a plank and muntin door.
